That'll be out July 16th. Let's get to the arts, culture, and entertainment section, shall we? Keep this short and sweet. Bay Ridge's own Christine Walters, who grew up in Flag Court. Well, she hosts a comedy podcast called Three Day Champion, and her next live taping is Friday, July 17th at 6 p.m. That's at the Caveat Theater, 21A Clinton Street. The storytelling game show style event will feature three comedians. If you want the full lineup, follow Three Day Champion on Instagram. This is a live comedy podcast game show style event. The comedians tell stories to compete for what they are calling dumb prizes. If you want to know more, listen to episodes 12 and 13 of the Bay Ridge Digest Podcast, which Christine was a guest on. The Healing Bean Cafe, 7904 Third Avenue, is going to be hosting an open mic night tomorrow, July 7th at 6 p.m. It's organized by the Venerable Jack Verlaine. Hassan and Mori of the Healing Bean Cafe were guests of the Bay Ridge Digest Podcast in episode 13, thanks to at large editor Sarah Barcoole. So definitely stop in, tell him I sent you and grab a delicious coffee in a very relaxing environment. The NIA's 45th Anniversary Summer Concert Series kicks off tomorrow, July 7th, 2026, at 7 o'clock. 6 p.m., the School of Rock will be on, playing a one-hour set. This is a free concert every week going from now on, 79th Street and Shore Road Park. Tomorrow's event will be Head Over Heels. That's the act. It's a pop wedding group. Just one big update for you this week. Print Space at 509 Senator Street has some spots left for their summer workshop intensive that's ages 12 and up. This is a printmaking workshop for people of all experiences when it comes to printmaking from experienced to novice. If you sign up for this, you're gonna explore color graph, styrofoam, dry point, line of cut, and monoprint techniques during the week. That's next week, July 13th through the 17th, with an eye towards experimental printing. Artists will learn how to handle the materials and participate in a shop environment. And once it's all done, there's a reception Sunday, July 19th. So there are two sessions, by the way, for this: five students per session. There's a morning session between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., and an afternoon session between 3 and 6 p.m. The price is $375, all inclusive. This is the community alerts section. A few of them just going on. So, number one, there's a free shredding event coming this Friday, July 10th, between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. at 9100 Bay Parkway. That's in Caesars Bay, the parking lot adjacent to the Target. You can come shred your personal documents. This is not for business people. There is no maximum amount of things you can shred. Newspapers, magazines are also allowed. You just can't have any staples, binder clips, etc., in this stuff. CB10 Community Board 10 member Stephen Link is organizing a Shoro Park cleanup on Tuesday, July 14th, 2026 at 10 a.m. That's by 79th Street in Shoro Park. Perhaps coincidentally, where the concerts take place. And students who participate will also receive a certificate for completing community service hours. Service changes for the DNR trains starting today, July 6th, basically, through July 17th. This is overnight, most of this month. In Brooklyn, Manhattan bound DNR trains are running express between 36th Street and Atlantic Avenue Barclay Center. For service to the intervening stations, that's 25th, Prospect, 9th Street, Union Street. Take a DNR train to Atlantic Avenue Barclay Center and transfer to a Coney Island bound DRN train or a Bear Ridge bound R train to 36th Street and then transfer. You know what I'm saying. For service from these stations, take the DNR train to 36th Street and transfer to a Manhattan-bound DNRR train. Tracks are being replaced. And service changes over the weekend for the D trains. This is the weekends of July 11th and 12th and July 17th and 18th. In Brooklyn, Manhattan bound D trains are over the end line between Coney Island, Stillwell Avenue, and 36th Street. For service to any of the intervening D train stops, take the D to either 62nd Street, New Trick Avenue, or 36th Street, and transfer to a Coney Island bound D train. There's also track replacement going on. Animal Pantry in Brooklyn here, 693 86th Street, is offering 20% off your first purchase. If you bring a paper receipt from Vinny's Pet Shop at 451 Bay Ridge Avenue, that's because Vinny's Pet Shop is closing.
